Highly Customized Ruger Old Army Percussion Revolver

Ruger Old Army stainless made in 1982 7.5” barrel. Excellent shape and fired very little. Revolver had custom work done by David Clements Custom Guns in Virginia in 2015. David shortened the barrel of this revolver to 5.5”, crowned the barrel muzzle and installed a new tall front sight with a gold bead. He also deepened the cylinders from 35 gr capacity to 40 gr. The action and timing were all addressed and the result was a silky smooth action. The factory nipples were replaced with Amco nipples. The grips are Rocky Mountain Big Horn sheep scales which give an ivory look but are much harder and were expertly fitted to the revolver. The holster rig was made by a local saddle maker; 1.5” belt 34” long in a ranger style buckle. The silver buckle set is circa about 1940’s solid sterling silver. The belt is lined and finished in a basket weave. The holster is a Tom Three Persons’s design and is also lined.
