Engraved Emil Kerner Hammer Drilling 16 gauge x 9.3x782r

This drilling features 16 gauge double shotgun barrels and a 9.3x82R rifle barrel, blade front and automatic flip-up notch rear sights, with "EMIL KERNER & SOHN" and "SUHL" on the right and left barrels, Krupp Fluid Steel markings and light engraving at the breech. The shotgun barrels have 2 9/16 inch chambers and are choked full/full. The frame is floral and punch dot engraved with scenes of deer, stag, rabbit and game birds. Tang mounted selector, Greener safety, adjustable front trigger, horn trigger guard and two cocking indicators. Checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with a black horn grip cap, horn buttplate, cheekpiece, sling swivels and engraved cartridge trap lid. Length of pull is 13 3/4 inches.

Rating Definition:

Fine as refinished with 65% of the blue finish on the barrels. Showing areas of edge wear, thinning and gray patina on the rib and small scattered nicks and dings. The action has aged to a mostly gray patina with detailed engravings. The wood has small indentations and handling marks throughout, smoothed checkering on the forearm, a chip at the buttplate toe and some deeper indentations on the buttstock near the trap. Mechanically very good.
