The Pedersoli flintlock Brown Bess smooth bore carbine is the carbine version of the Brown Bess musket. .75 caliber, 41 3/4" satin finish barrel, 57 11/16" over all length, 2 1/2" drop, weighs 9 pounds and has a 14" length of pull. Uses a .735" diameter ball, 1" flints. Suggested load of 70-80 grains of black powder. The lock is marked "GRICE 1762 with a crown over "GR" under the pan. Single trigger, steel ramrod threaded 10-32 male thread. Oil finish American walnut stock.
