1893 Marlin made in 1901 in 25-36 Marlin 26" Barrel***Sold***

Marlin 1893 lever action rifle in 25-36 Marlin with a 26" octagon barrel with good bore. Bore dark in the grooves with very good strong rifling. Barrel is marked "Special Smokeless Steel". Barrel has 60% of the blue, the receiver, lever, buttplate and magazine blue is thining. Receiver is not drilled and tapped for the Hepburn sight, the tang is factory drilled and tapped for a tang sight. Rear semi-buckhorn rear barrel sight and a knife blade front. Wood has repaired crack at the wrist (see photo) but does have minor dings and nicks you would expect on a rifle this old. Upper tang is marked MODEL 1893 manufactured about 1901. Must go through an FFL.
