Cowboy Action Shooting Cimarron Firearms Model 1866 Uberti in 44-40 Winchester with factory engraving, silver plated receiver and extra fancy wood. Used and in excellent condition only fired a few times. Silver plating has tarnished.
In 1866, Nelson King, Winchester Repeating Arms engineer patented improvements to the Henry rifle in the form of a tubular magazine feeding device and loading gate through the side of the frame. Our 1866 is the highest quality available. Cimarron places the authentic and original King?s patent markings on the barrel and uses historic caliber designations. All markings are placed in the same configuration as the original 1866 rifle. Many parts interchange with the originals. The rifle sports a 20" tapered octagon blued barrel with traditional 1866 barrel sights and a 10 round magazine. The receiver is silver plated. The buttplate and forend tip are brass.
