Custom Built Antique 1874 Sharps 45-70 26" Heavy Octagon Barrel***Sold***

Custom built antique Sharps rifle. Built on an 1869/70 Sharps conversion rifle now in 45-70. After the Civil War many were modified to 50-70 Gov't. This rifle was rebarreled, we believe, by noted Montana gunsmith and barrel maker Les Bauska with a new barrel. Marked properly .45 Cal.-2 1/10 with a perfect bore. Extra heavy weight 26" ocatagon barrel with a rifle actual weight of just under 12 pounds. Up-graded with new double set triggers and a new perfectly fitted breech-block. This rifle also has a long range tang sight a Sharps style front sight with a German silver blade.
