Accommodations:
The main safari lodge is a historic house dating back to the 1830’s. The South African pioneer, Louis Trichardt stayed in this homestead and farmed the sheep and cattle in the area. It was from this very homestead that he started his great trek to the north, which he finally ended in modern day Maputo.
Visitors can choose to be housed in this historic homestead, or in the more rustic bush camp while hunting in this area. Accommodations will vary depending on the area being hunted.
The bush camp is situated within half a kilometer of the homestead, in a thicket of indigenous scrub. Back at the boma there are 5 2-man tents, hot and cold running water, shower and sink. The boma is an ideal place to return to after a day in the bush; a place to swap stories of the day’s game sightings while enjoying a scrumptious meal by the fireside.
