Kirst Cartridge Konverter with loading gate to convert your .36 caliber Uberti 1858 Remingtons to shoot .38 Special. Drops right in most revolvers and converts your cap and ball into a cartridge revolver, though some minor fitting may be required. Owner has the option of cutting a loading port in the frame (template supplied) and convert your Remington using the new Ported Kirst Konverter with loading gate, then add the ejector assembly to complete your conversion, just like Remington did in the old days. The cylinders are "For Black Powder or Equivalent Loads Only," which includes the current Cowboy Loads on the market. This cylinder must NEVER be installed in a brass frame revolver.
