This unlined case is constructed of heavy 13/15 saddle skirting leather and molded per the original. Available either unlined or pigskin lined (unlined shown here, see item WSMRCL for lined ones) for barrel lengths of up to 34". Has the same features as the Sharps case but with the addition of the top carrying handle. Although intended for Winchester single shot rifles, the case also fits other pre-1900 single shot rifles. This is an authentic copy of Winchester factory supplied cases. See John Campbell's book The Winchester Single-Shot Vol. II, page 142. Please order by the overall length of the firearm as measured from the muzzle to the point of the toe of the stock.
