Follow up review. (1-2013) This needs some modification IMHO. The brass plunger has too much movement along the lever making a clean downward thrust on the ball a tad difficult and inconsistent. The cotter pin is easy to remove and could allow for end user adjustment into a different holes for different calibers instead of this rather sloppy slot it can ride along. A small modification. As-is there is a little too much movement forcing you to try and hold the plunger position for a square and even pressure. I added a small bushing bar -small piece of metal to fill the gap) and I hope that helps. For the price it's pretty good and could easily be upgraded or improved by the manufacturer.

This was recommended by a fellow shooter at my club after witnessing the ease he was having loading with the gun disassembled. Very handy cylinder reloader in comparison to loading with the gun assembled. I just started using this press Saturday. It took a little technique not to torque at an angle but seating the ball to a consistent depth is very satisfactory. I'd highly recommend this item. I'm loading Navy 1851 .36. Greasing the ball certainly helped too.
