This barrel is rifled with Alexander Henry Type Rifling. For those of you that just have to be different. This barrel blank will finish up to 34".

Alexander Henry .45 Caliber Round Blank Barrel by Krieger Barrel, Inc.. These barrels are well known for their match winning accuracy. These single point cut rifled chrome moly barrels are cryogenically stress relieved and hand lapped. Henry rifling is thought to work better with black powder shooting as there are no sharp corners for fouling to build up in. Demensions are 1.3" in diameter blank, eight lands and grooves, .450" bore and .458" groove, and 1-16" twist rate. These will finish up to a 34" long barrel. The drawings are of original Henry rifling with 7 lands and grooves our barrels are similar but with 8 lands and grooves.
