Cimarron imported Uberti Cowboy Action version of the Colt 1851 Navy London percussion black powder revolver. Historically produced from 1851 to 1872, this gun more than any other, symbolizes the early period of the Wild West. The stagecoach, Oregon Trail, Santa Fe Railroad, California Gold Rush and the American Civil War are only a few of the great events which the 1851 served on all sides. Reflected in its hard lines, perfect balance and precision timing are many of the grittiest battles ever fought. The cylinder engraving even reflects this, which depicts the 1843 naval Battle of Campeche between the Mexican Navy and the combined Texas-Yucatan Navy. Antique finish makes this revolver look 150 years old.
Standard blue finish, color case hardened frame, steel backstrap and 1/2" Barrel Length, .36 caliber, one piece walnut grips.
