Cimarron imported Uberti 1849 Pocket Pistol black powder percussion revolver. Historically, these firearms were Samuel Colt's answer to the demand of a growing civilian market for a light handgun. They found much favor with gamblers, prospectors and "men of change" for whom the dragoon models were much too heavy and oversized. Many settlers on the Oregon Trail, as well as Civil War soldiers, chose these revolvers as a fast handling back-up pocket gun. Just like yesterday, this is a great concealed weapon for Cowboy action shooters and reenactors and is period correct in all manners.
Standard blue finish, .31 Caliber, 4" barrel, color case hardened frame, one piece walnut stock.

This is a beautifully crafted gun after initial rotation and cocking and un cocking is rolls smooth and is rather light. I give this 4 stars just because getting the ammo is really really hard to find I tried a .310 32 caliber and it t fell out of the cyl...
