Cimarron imported Uberti 1848 Baby Dragoon black powder percussion revolver. This realistically made reproduction pistol is manufactured by Uberti to Cimarron's high standard of excellence. It comes in a charcoal blued finish (though shown in blue and case color finish here). These firearms were Samuel Colt's answer to the demand of a growing civilian market for a light handgun. They found much favor with gamblers, prospectors and "men of change" for whom the dragoon models were much too heavy and oversized. Many settlers on the Oregon Trail, as well as Civil War soldiers, chose these revolvers as a fast handling back-up pocket cowboy action gun. A .330" diameter round ball is recommended. Specs: Charcoal blue finish, color case hardened frame, brass T/G-B/S, 1 piece walnut grips, .31 caliber, 4" barrel, weight 1.68 lbs.
