Cimarron imported Uberti 1848 Baby Dragoon black powder percussion revolver. This realistically made reproduction pistol is made by Uberti to Cimarron's high standards of excellence. This model comes in an authentic finish that cannot be distinguished from the 150 year old original without close examination. Historically, these firearms were Samuel Colt's answer to the demand of a growing civilian market for a light handgun, thus favored by gamblers, prospectors and "men of change" for whom the dragoons were much too heavy and oversized. Many settlers on the Oregon Trail, as well as Civil War soldiers, chose these revolvers as a fast handling back-up cowboy action shooting pocket gun. Round ball with a .330" diameter is recommended. Specs-Standard blued finish, case hardened frame, .31 caliber, 4" barrel, rass T/G-B/S, 1 piece walnut grips, weight 1.68 lbs.
