This Cimarron Firearms imported Armi Sport Texas Ranger Carbine black powder cartridge single shot carbine is a copy of the 1859 Percussion Sharps Military Carbine converted to fire cartridges then sold to the State of Texas and issued to Texas Rangers stationed on the Western Frontier in the 1860's. Each of the 36 original carbines were marked on the barrel by the Rangers with a 'T H S' and numbered as issued. The Carbines feature case colored actions and blued steel barrel and parts. The wood is American black walnut as was used on the original Texas Ranger carbines. Cimarron believes this model will be well received by Cowboy Action Long Range cartridge shooters and Frontier re-enactors. 50-70 Caliber, 22" Round Barrel Length,
