We feel that the heavy construction (13 lbs.) will be very useful for accuracy testing the heavy rifles used in BPCR and other similar competitions. It is all steel except for the top which is aluminum. The unique feature of the rest is that the legs detach for easy storage. The spokes on the elevation adjustment are stainless steel as is the elevation screw. The leg adjustments are alloy steel threaded rod. The legs are numbered so they can be reattached in the same place on the body each time they are removed. The hand wheel will quickly and smoothly adjust the height from 5" to 7 3/4". If there is a need for additional height we have an optional 4" extension made from solid steel.
