Shooters have discovered that there are other ways to clean your cases then with walnut or corn cob media. Six pounds of Angle Cut Ceramic Media along with our cleaning compound, will clean the dirtest cases that have been fired with black powder with out any scrubbing. These are angle cut cylinders of ceramic media that are shaped and sized so as not to stick in your primer pockets but will clean them up to like new. In fact after three hours your cases will shine like you haven't seen since they were new! This media will last for years and years of heavy use.

Ceramic media has long been used for industrial applications and this technology is now being applied to the shooting sports. We do not recommend the use of this product in any other tumblers other than the Thumler’s line of tumblers that we carry. Using this product in any other manufacturer’s tumblers will invite early failure.

Using our tumbler item #TT140, TT140HS or TT140EX, place 6 pounds of ceramic media in the tumbler barrel and pour COLD water in until its 1” above the level of the media. Put 1 tablespoon of compound in, or if the cases are extremely dirty, put in 2-3 tablespoons. You may then put up to 8 pounds of de-primed cases for polishing and cleaning. Run the tumbler for 3-6 hours. There is no need to prewash your cases but we do recommend that you de-cap them first. After draining the compound rinse off your cases with COLD water and dry.

This cleaning method is recomended for use with straight wall cases and some bottle neck calibers. Some of the suitable calibers are 40-65 Winchester, 40-70 SBN, 40-90 SBN, 40-90 SS, 40-70 SS, 40-82 Winchester, 40-70 Winchester, 44-90 SBN, 44-77 SBN through 45-120 3 1/4" Sharps, 50-70 Government through 50-140 3 1/4" Sharps.

Our customers have reported some of the advantages of this way of cleaning your cases have: Lower standard and average velocity deviation, more uniform neck tension, longer case life with less frequent trimming, no time consuming hand scrubbing your cases one at a time, longer loading die life, cleaner cases.

SHOULD BE USED IN OUR THUMLERS LINE OF HEAVY DUTY TUMBLERS. USE OF THIS PRODUCT IN OTHER TUMBLERS MAY CAUSE FAILURE!
